fireworks

On Saturday it was fireworks day. We went to my Aunties to do fireworks . I was jumping on the trampoline while they were doing the fireworks.
When the fireworks blew there was lots off colours. When it finished blowing there was lots
of smoke.

In the holidays it was my 11th Birthday. I turned 11 years old on the 24th of October The same day as the Labour day. My mum went to buy me a chocolate cake. I had 11 candles on my cake. We had my birthday at my aunties house with my uncles and cousins. We ate chicken, salad ,taro ,tapa suey ,curry chicken and had Drinks . After I blower my candles for my cake then my family sang the Happy Birthday song. Went they first sing the song then my mum went to get the knife and cut the cake.

On Friday Samoa played South Africa at the Albany Stadium In Auckland. When Maun Samoa did the Haka there was a lot of people screaming . The first try was from South Africa. The second try was from Samoa. And the final score is 13-5.

Starship Hospital

On Monday I fell down the steps at home. On Tuesday I went to Starship hospital. My mum and I waited 2 hours to see the doctors. There was a lot of people. The doctor asked me what happen and I said I fell down the steps. At the hospital I was so scared because I was by myself. I stayed at the hospital from Tuesday to Friday. I was very happy to came back home.

Parrots

Parrots live in the cold mountains and some live in the trees. Parrots have four toes to help then to climb up and down. Parrots make their own nests with their strong beaks. Some Parrots live in a cage. Some Parrots have colourful feathers like a rainbow. Parrots use their beaks to eat seeds.

One News In Room 16

On Tuesday TV One News came to our school to film us working on our netbooks. I feel excited when I saw myself on the news! I feel sad that some schools don't their netbooks because I love to use my netbook. Hope you like seeing us on the news!

Father's Day

On Sunday it was fathers day.On fathers day I made a card for my dad. When my dad woke up I gave him his card. When my mum and I finished cooking we put the food in the car. My family got dressed and we went to church.

Tarantula

My Weekend

On the weekend my family and I went to church to make a BBQ for our dinner. Then we went back home. I went to Pt England school to play touch with Michael.We played 3 on 3 and our team won. I hated the game because it was boring.

If I could buy my Dad and Mum a present it would be a phone.They would like a phone because they can call their family.I would buy the phone from The Warehouse for $100.00

Lost in the forest

A long time ago there was some dinosaurs call Duck-Bills. They were eating flowers and leaves and they heard a noise coming from the other side. T-Rex was coming, thump, thump, thump, thump! My weekend story

On the weekend I went to my aunties and we had a farewell for my stepnana.She has gone back to Samoa.We had a BBQ for dinner.Before we had dinner we did a prayer.After dinner we played games.

Snow in Otara

In Otara there was some snow. In Otara pepole were wearing warm clothes because it was so cold. There are roads closed because there is a lot of snow. The snow makes the road very slippery. I have been wearing warm clothes to keep warm!

My Weekend!

In the weekend Michael and I went for a ride through a bush-walk on our bikes. There was a lot of stairs. I fell off my bike and hurt my leg. I had a rest and then I rode my bike again. Michael and I had a race. We rode our bike for 2 hours.

My Baby Brother

On 28 of July 2011 I have a new baby brother. He weighed 9.1 kgs and has lots of hair. My baby brothers name is Samuel. I have 5 sisters and two brothers. We went to Happy Days to celebrate my baby brother being born. My family gave me some presents.

NSW vs Queensland

On wednesday night NSW played QLD for the State of Origin Shield  The first half a player got injured. The first try scored was from QLD.

Triceratops

Triceratops has 3 horns on his head. It is a plant eater. Triceratops had 5 toes on its foot.

Tyrannosaurs Rex

T. Rex's full name is Tyrannosaurs Rex. It weighed about the same as two large elephants. T. Rex ate large and small animals.

New Zealand Falcon

The New Zealand falcon is only found in New Zealand. The falcon can fly up to 230km per hour. The falcon hunts for small birds and insects for food.

Sharks

Some sharks have marks on their body and they have some lines. When they bite some teeth may fall out. New teeth move forward to take their place.

Netball

On Thursday Room 16 is going to play netball with coach Emma. Before we play we have to warm up. We have to stetch our muscles before we play. There are seven players on the court. The goal attack and the goal shooter are allowed in the half circle so they can get the goals. The centre is the only player who can go over the whole court except in the shooting circles.

Popcorn

On the 6th of June we went down to the staffroom to cook some popcorn. Then we had to wait for the pan to get hot. We put the corn kernels into the pan. When the kernels got hot they popped. When they finished popping we put the popcorn in a bowl. We ate the popcorn and it was CRUNCHY!!

Tallest Tower

On the 25 of May we made marble a track.Our Team challenge was to make a marble track with two corners. Alex and I was a team and Billy and Michael were a team. Alex and I finsh our marble track

Rugby

On Friday me and brother played rugby on the school park. Then he kicked the ball to me then I ran to my brother. My brother tackle me then I ran straight into the goal post. I slipped and hurt my leg. My big brother took me home and got me a plaster for my leg.

On the weekend we went to my ruby game. The team that we vs was East Tamaki. Before we played the game we went
to the East Tamaki Club. When we got to the East Tamaki Club we started the game. They kicked the ball to us but they got the try

On the weekend we went to ruby.We played the Mankau Team. We started the game first they kick the ball to us then catch the ball. We ran with the ball then we got tackled, then we pass to our back line. Then we passed and passed we got tackle again. Then they took the ball off us then we started to tackle the big boys. They ran straight to our team then we tackled them down.The final score was 69-0

Tamaki Rugby Team

In the holidays we had a rugby game. We played against another team from Auckland. At the game we had to kick the ball to the other team. We started the game first. They got the ball then our team ran to tackle them down. Then they passed the ball to the halfback then the halfback run straight up to our team. Then he passed the ball to the back line and they passed and passed then they scored an awesome try! They scored the last try of the game and won!

Christchurch Earthquake

On Tuesday there was an earthquake in Christchurch. People were screaming and there is people who have died. There were people crushed under the houses and some people were running for their lives. There was fire and smoke. There were army people and doctors from U.S.A. helping the people.

Superman

I am superman and I have powers! They are super speed, strength and fly. I help lots of people from bad people. I save them by killing and beating up bad people. My favourite thing to do as superman is flying around. It is really fun!
