My Friend said about me

Last term room 19 had a great  opportunity  to walk around the class room and write something nice about that person the piece of paper that we were given to stick on our backs,The reason why we had to do this is that so other people can find out something good that people might like about me.

My first thing I like the most is when my friends said I am a good rugby player,I am also good at doing big hits when I play rugby seriously,I think that they've being watching my games.

Some of my friend said that I am funny and awesome.I thigh they said that because sometime Joke around and play around.

So after we write posturer on people backs. I very enjoyed writing posturer things behind my friend backs and I wish we will a anther  opportunity like this.
      

Fisfia

The first  day  that we had Fiafia practise in pt england school.The group that I am in this is the samoan group.

So the first practise That we it was hard because we need to learn it.Learning the dance  is hard

because you need to know where you hands go.

The thacher that I do the fiafia practise with is  Miss Tele and timmy.

The part that I like about fiafia  practice  getting to know my culture butter and knowing

my language too.

The reason that are doing fiafia this year because it is our school  60th anniversary.So on the 18th of april it time to prefrom to our parten and some of the people too

 

Triathlon

On Wednesday Room 19 was lucky to have 4 people from Triathlon NZ teach us about Triathlons. They set it up in our school field .

So after they told us some of the rules it was time  to have go at doing

the Triathlon. First we had to slide 4 time on the  water slide .

After that we had to run to the t and get a bike and run with the bike across the line then Jump onto the bike and ride around the field.So when we got back form riding the bike we had to put  it back were you  got it from. then we had to run around the field.

When we got back from running we had to have a rest before we go for our

second turn.When it was time for our second turn I was ready for it .
So all the boys line up at the staring line.Then a man form NZ triathlon said go. All the boys
slide.And we all ran to the bikes and ride.When I got back from riding the bike I put my bike back were I got it from. Then I ran my hardest to the Finnish line.

Flax

Last week Room 19 went to Omaru Creek and got some flax for making putiputi (flowers). Some of Room 21 kids came with us to get some flax too. When we got to Omaru creek we had to sit under the shade. When everyone was sitting under the shade. Miss Tito told us some rules about the flax.

1. do not use it to whack people with it
2 don't play with it
3 don't cut on a raining day
4 don't cut it when is night time   


So it was time to cut he flax. So after I cut my flax I went and sit down under the shade and waited for Miss Tito.  It was time to go to school when we got when we got back to school we started to weaving the flax and it was fun.

Tuakana /Teina

Every Tuesday Room Nineteen have being going to the library to read with the kids in room 9. The first time we went to do some reading with kids we had to buddy up with a kid from room nine. So I buddied up with this little boy but unfortunately I can't remember what was his name is. I went with him to get a picture book so that I can read to him. After we got a book to read we went outside the library and went under the tree.

When I read to him sometimes he likes to muck around, But I don't always like it when he mucks around it kind of annoys me. So I get him to focus and I finish reading to him.

Partnership

The meaning of partnership is working together as a team  and win as a team. Partnership means  when you help each other and being
kind to others and being helpful too. Partnership is two people agreeing to each other

What is compassion? This year Pt england school in learning to be “Better together “Kia pai

kotahi”. In Room 19 we have been investigating love. Compassion.honesty and tolerance.Ms

Tito our Teacher gave us a task to select one of these words to writie a definition and present an

example of what it mean to our class.The reason we are learning adout these things are to help

us understand ourselves and other so we can be a better person today and in the future.
